Before we start our program, we would like to acknowledge the high profile shooting in PA last night where, tragically, one citizen lost their life and two were seriously injured.

Nobody should be fearful of being shot at a political rally

Or at a church, or mosque or synagogue

Or at a shopping mall or grocery store

Or at a movie theater

Or at a workplace

Or at a music venue

Or at a school…

We hope that we will elect leaders at the federal, state, and local levels who will work to enact common sense gun laws.

We are honored to have several candidates running for state and county positions representing our Mascoma Towns here with us today.

We all know how important this election will be and we are also honored to have all of you here today! We know it will take all of us to do whatever we can to elect Democrats up and down the ticket.
